Abstract
This article records an interview by the author with Brian Donovan, a prominent executive coach specializing in working with information technology (IT) professionals. The interview highlights the knowledge and experience he has gained and applied in his work, and provides insights into the career development of information systems (IS) leaders aspiring to the ranks of top management. Based on these insights, the article describes the four main implications for IS leadership identified by the author.
