About Michael Gorman

Michael Gorman, Ph.D is an Assistant Professor of Finance at Sacred Heart University. He has both industry and teaching experience and has worked as a consultant for several years helping with big data related to market research and sales. For his dissertation he worked on the asset pricing anomaly of momentum and analyzed the extent to which trading on momentum might still be profitable in the US equities market. He was the recipient of the Fisher-Long-Whitcomb award for teaching excellence from Rutgers University. Michael currently teaches at both the undergraduate and graduate level.
