About Micah Bateman

Micah Bateman is Ph.D. student in English at the University of Texas at Austin with specializations in U.S. literature and culture, print culture and digital humanities, poetry and creative writing, library and information studies, and medical humanities. He is a graduate of the Iowa Writers' Workshop, where he was a Teaching-Writing Fellow and postgraduate Provost's Fellow, and of the School of Library and Information Science at the University of Iowa. He edits the annotations and marginalia of Walt Whitman for The Walt Whitman Archive.
