About Merideth Hoagland Pitts, Ph.D.

Dr. Merideth (Hoagland) Pitts teaches courses in linguistics, language teaching methods, and composition at Cedarville University. Her doctoral research took her to western China, where she explored English language instruction in a multi-ethnic, multi-lingual context. Her background comprises more than 10 years of classroom experience among diverse ESL/EFL populations. She joined the Cedarville faculty in 2017.
