About Melissa 'Missy' Wheeler

Melissa Wheeler, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of Counselor Education in the Isabelle Farrington College of Education & Human Development at Sacred Heart University. Missy is a National Certified Counselor and an Approved Clinical Supervisor. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in elementary education and her Masters in counselor education from East Carolina University and a Ph.D. in counseling and counselor education from the University of North Carolina. Dr. Wheeler is a member of the American Counseling Association, and the Association of Counselor Education & Supervision.
