About Dr. Melissa Tara Sasso


Dr. Melissa T. Sasso is an Italian Canadian native who grew up in Montreal, Quebec and went to preparatory school throughout her elementary and high school years.  She then moved to Florida at the age of 16. Dr. Sasso attained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Florida International University where she graduated with Cum Laude and joined PSI CHI, the International Honour Society in Psychology as well as Golden Key International Honour Society and Delta Epsilon Iota Academic Honor Society. She received both her Master’s of Science in Exceptional Student Education and Doctorate in Education with a concentration in Organizational leadership at Nova Southeastern University, where she graduated with a 4.0 GPA in both degrees and joined Kappa Delta Pi, an International Honor Society in Education. Dr. Sasso has several years experience working with students who suffer from disabilities from Pre-K to grade 5 and is now working in the higher education field. She has written numerous published international book chapters with her Dissertation chair, Dr. David B. Ross and has her published dissertation entitled How Narcissists Cannot Hold an Organization Together: A Mixed Method Approach to a Fictitious Puzzle Factory located in ProQuest. Her dissertation was nominated and won with distinction. She has attended and presented at various conferences. In addition, she is an article reviewer and also edits dissertations and other various works. Her research interests include academic fraud and she is a passionate researcher in the fields of academic entitlement, toxic workplace environments, and narcissistic leadership.
