Examines the impact of animal-assisted therapy during discharge teaching for post-open-heart surgical patients with a median sternotomy incision. Benefits from animal-assisted therapy; Presence of anxiety in patients undergoing postoperative median sternotomy dischargeteaching; Evaluation of retention of discharge teaching.
