Dean Melanie Leslie on Cardozo's Four Pillars of Education

Abstract
In a speech at orientation, Cardozo Law's Dean Melanie Leslie spoke to the incoming class of 2019 about the school's four pillars of education. The students, who are part of the school's 40th class, learned about Cardozo's history of ambition, innovation, leadership and activism.
"It's our 40th year, so I want to talk about the things that have made the law school great," said Dean Leslie. "The four values that characterize us and explain why we're different than other law schools."
