Irish Social Welfare Rulings in 2017

Abstract
This paper looks at rulings of the Irish courts on social welfare issues in 2017. 2017 saw, in relative terms, a bumper crop of social welfare rulings with no less than 9 rulings on social welfare issues in the Irish courts and a decision by the CJEU in the Gusa reference.
