About Megann McGill

Megann McGill joined the SPHR faculty in fall 2016. She completed her PhD at the Michael and Tami Lang Stuttering Institute at The University of Texas at Austin. Megann has published and presented on topics related to stuttering, phonological working memory, and speech production. Megann's research and clinical interests include the contributions of linguistic factors to stuttered speech production and evidence-based assessment and treatment practices for monolingual and bilingual children and adults who stutter. She is also a Spanish-English bilingual speech-language pathologist with years of clinical experience in outpatient, private practice, home health and acute care inpatient settings.
