About Md Golam Sharoar, Ph.D.

Dr. Sharoar is a Cellular and Molecular neuroscientist with more than 12 years’ experience in Alzheimer’s disease (AD) research. His research focuses to investigate how AD patients develop pathologies in their brain, and explores on early diagnosis and therapeutics intervention of this most common neurodegenerative disease. He has expertise in the autophagy-lysosomal pathway, tubular ER, β-amyloid (Ab) aggregation and cytotoxicity, dystrophic neurite formation in aging and AD brains, confocal imaging, and biochemical assay.
