About Maxx Toler

Maxx C. Toler, PhD is an assistant professor of anatomy. He received his BS in Biology and BA in Anthropology from East Carolina University and his PhD in Evolutionary Anthropology from Duke University. His doctoral work focused on measuring performance during gnawing behaviors in the aye-aye to test assumptions regarding their highly derived feeding adaptations. Teaching areas: Gross Anatomy; Histology; Embryology; Neuroscience.
