About Matthew Pianalto

My scholarly interests are in various areas of ethics. I have recently published journal articles and essays, and given presentations, on virtues such as patience, courage, humility, integrity, and tolerance, on animal ethics, and on the philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein.
I have recently completed a book manuscript on patience.
I am also becoming increasingly interested in questions about the limits of language and non-verbal modes of conveying ideas and meaning, including how these issues relate to ethical argumentation and persuasion.
