Matthew P. Allen is a principal at the international law firm of Miller, Canfield, Paddock and Stone, PLC, where he practices in the Firm’s Litigation and Trial Practice Group. He is a business, securities, and intellectual property litigator and trial lawyer, and has handled various complex national and international commercial arbitration and litigation matters. Matt also assists businesses and executives in an array of SEC and governmental-related inquiries, investigations, and enforcement actions. Matt is also an appellate lawyer who has handled a variety of matters in state and federal appellate courts. Before joining Miller Canfield, Matt served two years as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Lawrence P. Zatkoff, then Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
