About Matthew G. Isbell

Previously an Association Professor at Merrimack College, Dr. Matthew Isbell is currently an Assistant Professor with Boise State University’s Department of Communications.  He earned a Ph.D. in Communication Studies from the University of Texas at Austin focusing on social identities particularly in terms of interorganizational collaborations.  In addition to this he published and presented papers focusing on nutrition education through a client-centered focus. Dr. Isbell has been a journal reviewer for such publications as Health Communication and Management Communication Quarterly, and he is currently a member of the National Communication Association and the Western States Communication Association.
