Mathew Uretsky is an assistant professor at Portland State University. His areas of research interest include identifying risk and protective factors that support the development of prevention and intervention programs to address problem behaviors and support positive academic and social development for at-risk children and youth across domains including communities, schools, and families. Professor Uretsky is also developing early warning systems for the identification of children and youth at risk for poor outcomes and intervention research.
