Abstract
The Iran nuclear deal is a good one for all concerned. This should come as welcome news because it is the only game in town for reasons critics may fail to mention:
- First, it is a multilateral agreement.
- Second, Congress has few options for keeping unilateral U.S. sanctions in place.
- Most importantly, international law strictly forbids the use of military force against Iran to try to end its program.
