Mary Beadle has taught at John Carrol since 1994 teaching in the area of electronic media, including media ethics and women in media. Dr. Beadle spent nine years in academic administration between 2000 and 2009. She returned to the classroom in 2009.
Dr. Beadle has published in the areas of international media and media history. She is currently working with her collegues on the fourth edition of Broadcast Perfomance Worktext. She has served as chair of both the history and international divisions of the Broadcast Education Association and numerous other leadership position in professional organizations.
