Abstract

A multivalued logarithm on time scales recently introduced for delta-differen-tiable functions that never vanish is covered in this chapter. This is accomplished using an extended definition of the cylinder transformation from which the definition of exponential functions on time scales arose. The definition of a logarithm function on arbitrary time scales with familiar and useful properties then follows.
