Abstract

The existing books on space law consist primarily of highly technical treatises that may be impenetrable to the law student and unhelpful to the practitioner dealing with the practical issues faced by their clients. Fortunately, a new book on the law of outer space was recently published which addresses the needs of the law student and the practitioner. International Space Law and Space Laws of the United States, published by Routledge in 2022, is a valuable addition to the space law bibliography both for its potential use as a textbook for students of space law as well as for the useful guidance it provides to the US practitioner entering the field.
