About Mark E Pickering
Mark Pickering is a management consultant with Pickering Byrnes and an Associate Professor at Swinburne Business School. Mark has a Doctorate of Business Administration from RMIT University, an MBA from the University of California at Los Angeles and a Business degree, majoring in accounting and information technology, from Swinburne University, and is a Chartered Accountant (Australia) and qualified as a CPA in California (dormant). Mark has been consulting for over 20 years, including as a partner of Deloitte, in the areas of strategy development, mergers and acquisitions, organisation design, activity based costing and process improvement. Mark's research focus is professional service firms including: governance, ownership structures, mergers/ acquisitions and performance. Mark has recently taught at Swinburne University at the undergraduate and post graduate levels.
