About Mark D. McClain, Ph.D.

Dr. Mark McClain, Associate Academic Vice-President, serves as the Dean for the College of Professions. Dr. McClain joined Cedarville University in August 1996 as Assistant Professor of Chemistry and most recently served as Associate Dean for Lifelong Learning and International Programs.

In addition to his teaching at Cedarville, Dr. McClain's experience includes two years of post-doctoral research at Sandia National Laboratories and six years of academic program management. He has been a senior research associate of the National Research Council and AFRL summer faculty fellow.
Dr. McClain holds a Ph.D. and M.S. from the University of Michigan and a B.A. from Cedarville University.
