About Marie O Neill

Marie O' Neill works as Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Officer at CCT College. Prior to this she worked as Head of Enhancement at CCT College Dublin and Head of the Centre for Teaching and Learning. Previously, Marie worked as a professional librarian in the libraries of the Technological University Dublin, University College Dublin, the Oireachtas, the Welsh Office, King's Inns and Dublin Business School. Marie is also the originator and co-founder of the MSc in Information and Library Management at Dublin Business School which is accredited by the Library Association of Ireland. Marie is currently pursuing a part-time PhD in Diamond Open Access Library Publishing at University College Dublin. She is an Editorial Board member of AISHE-J. Marie has completed National Forum digital badges including facilitator badges in Universal Design, Online Teaching and Learning and PACT.

Marie has over fifteen year's experience of representing library, research and academic support functions during accreditation and validation exercises. Marie is a member of a range of committees including the Library Association of Ireland's Library Publishing Group. She regularly presents at a number of national and international conferences pertaining to higher education and librarianship including the World Library Congress in 2022 and regularly publishes in the academic and professional literature. In 2022, Marie worked with the President of CCT College to host a World Library Congress satellite event at CCT.
