About Marie O Neill

Marie O' Neill works as Head of Enhancement at CCT College Dublin. Her role involves working with institutional staff to implement enhancements to Teaching and Learning, the Learning Environment and Research. Previously, Marie worked as a professional librarian in the libraries of the Technological university Dublin, UCD, the Oireachtas, King's Inns and Dublin Business School. In 2017, Marie co-ordinated a pilot of the National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning's National Professional Development Framework for all Those Who Teach in Higher Education. She was also a keynote speaker at the Forum's Pilots' Day in the same year. In 2019, Marie published a chapter in a National Forum funded open access monograph with HECA Librarians on the National Professional Development Framework. She also completed the Forum's online PACT Programme including the Facilitator training, going on to facilitate a national delivery of PACT in partnership with the Forum and Waterford Institute of Technology. Marie has over a decade's experience of representing Academic Support and Research functions during accreditation and validation exercises.
