Marie Forgie, DO (she/her) is a graduate of the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine where she developed a special interest in improving healthcare for underserved populations. She is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley with a double major in Integrative Biology and Women's (Gender) Studies. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Aurora Sinai Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She joined the same wonderful faculty group that trained her in 2014. Her professional interests are transgender/gender diverse health care, patient-centered health care, obstetrical research, and medical education. She has been an active member of her healthcare organization’s Gender Affirming Surgical Steering Committee, LGBTQ+ Community Engagement Committee, Scientific Day Committee. She serves as an Ob/Gyn Medical Student Clerkship Director for the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She has two children who give her gray hair and a happy heart.
