Maria Carla Dominguez, M.D., is a hospital-based medical oncologist specializing in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of blood disorders and diseases, such as iron-deficiency anemia, hemophilia, sickle-cell disease, leukemia and lymphoma. She manages the day-to-day care of patients requiring hospitalization while closely collaborating with their primary oncologist and Miami Cancer Institute’s multidisciplinary cancer care team. Dr. Dominguez is involved in clinical research to improve the outcomes of patients with blood diseases.
