About Maria Cristina Bautista

Dr. Bautista conducted studies and published on the Philippine health system, did research on drug utilization and prescribing behaviour, health care demand, private sector in health care, employment based health plans, industry study on health maintenance organizations and was involved in USAID/Manila projects on health sector reforms, including stewarding the establishment of the Health Policy Unit in the Department of Health/Philippines and the transition of Medicare to the PhilHealth.
