Estimate of Limited English Speaking Eligible Voters in Select Communities of the Boston Metropolitan Area

Abstract
A Report to Greater Boston Legal Services. The analysis estimated the number and percentage of U.S. Citizens of voting age who speak a common language and do not speak English exclusively or very well by voting Precinct for municipalities in the greater Boston region.  Languages groups identified included Chinese, Haitian-Creole, Khmer, Portuguese,  Russian, Spanish, and  Vietnamese. We used Census data and geographically weighted interpolation to estimate the target populations.
