About Marcie Venter

I am an anthropological archaeologist specializing in boundary dynamics and cultural interactions within the Gulf lowlands of Mesoamerica. I have also conducted considerable CRM archaeology in the Eastern US. I am beginning a research program on the southwest coast of Jamaica that is examining interactions occurring within the context of early Spanish settlement.
