Abstract

In the past few years, researchers in mathematics education have highlighted the use and benefits of integrating technology and mathematics. However, one critical issue in developing countries is the inaccessibility of technology for the study and learning of mathematics. The first part of our chapter pertains to how GeoGebra, as free software with well-planned functionalities, plays a particularly important role in the Philippine setting.
