About Dr. Pankaj M. Madhani
Dr. Pankaj M. Madhani is Editor of The IUP Journal of Corporate Governance (indexed in the Cabell’s, EBSCO and Proquest). He received an MBA degree from Northern Illinois University, USA and an MS in Computer Science from Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, USA. He holds bachelor’s degrees in Chemical Engineering (2nd rank - L. D. College of Engineering), Law as well as PGDM (2 year Full-Time Post Graduate Diploma in Management). He received his Ph.D. in Strategic Management from CEPT University. He has more than 30 years of corporate and academic experience in India and the United States. During his tenure with corporate, he has been felicitated with the Outstanding Young Managers Award instituted by BDMA (of All India Management Association, AIMA).
He is currently working as Associate Dean and Professor at ICFAI Business School (IBS). He is also Area Chair (Finance & Strategy). He was convener of one of the most successful international conference organized by IBS (IBSA-ICON 07), wherein 230+ papers were presented by scholars, including 16 foreign delegates. In all, eight plenary sessions and twenty four parallel technical sessions were organized. He is recipient of the IBSAF Best Teacher Award for the year 2012-13. He has also won Best Mentor award. He has conducted research workshops and faculty development programmes across India. He has been part of the curriculum review on Finance as well as General Management subjects for the IBS - PG programme. He is recipient of "Best Research Paper Award" at Biennial 5th International Management Convention organized by ASBM, Bhubaneswar, jointly with AMDISA, in year 2016. He is also accredited GST Trainer from National Academy of Customs Excise and Narcotics (NACEN), Government of India for GST implementation.
He has published more than 300 book chapters and research articles in several refereed journals including Inderscience Publishers, UK; Palgrave Macmillan, USA; CRC Press (Taylor & Francis), The Netherlands; and SAGE Publications, USA. He has published management books in the areas of ERP, business strategy and corporate finance. His research work has been cited/included in 20 International Books. He has published 19 articles in Compensation & Benefits Review, an international journal published by SAGE Publications, USA and also published 7 articles in World at Work Journal, a leading refereed journal published from USA. He has also 7 SCOPUS index papers.
His research has also been recognized by the industry as in year 2015 he received "Best Article of the Year" Award from Indian Institute of Materials Management. His research interests include finance, technology in business, sales compensation, corporate governance and strategic management. His EIGHT research papers appeared on Management INK - where SAGE Publications, USA highlights top articles from over 50 top-tier journals. He is also reviewer of Emerald, Inderscience, SAGE Publishing, Elsevier and IGI Global Journals. He was the first faculty from the entire Indian academic world to publish in top-notch international journals such as Compensation & Benefits Review, World at Work Journal and The European Business Review.
