Review of: Organizing Exhibitions: A Handbook for Museums, Libraries and Archives, by Freda Matassa
The Journal of Academic Librarianship (2015)
  • Madeline M. Kelly, Western Washington University
Abstract
The stated purpose of this book is to “[explain] everything an exhibition organizer needs to know” (xvii). While this may not be achievable (after all, no book can explain everything), Matassa's work is nevertheless a solid resource for students, professional newcomers, and experienced exhibition planners alike. It is a comprehensive and accessible primer on a wide array of exhibition-related issues.
