Abstract
Infographics are here to stay, and for good reason: they're colorful, they're compelling, and they make complex information accessible. Data Visualizations and Infographics, the eighth title in editor Ellyssa Kroski's Library Technology Essentials series, champions the visual and brings infographics into the library—any library. The slim volume, written by law librarian Sarah K.C. Mauldin, is intended to be “above all, a how-to-do-it book” and is aimed not just at academic and public libraries, but at any library with a story to tell—no experience necessary (xi).
