Abstract
E-books occupy a major but constantly changing place in the academic library landscape: they aren't going anywhere, nor have they quite “arrived.” In this edited volume, Suzanne M. Ward, Robert S. Freeman, and Judith M. Nixon assemble a snapshot of that changing landscape, not as a timeless authority on e-books, but as a record of their promise and potential during these still-early years. This is where we are, and only time can tell where we will end up.
