Review of: Getting Started with Demand-Driven Acquisitions for E-Books, by Theresa S. Arndt
Journal of Web Librarianship
(2016)
Abstract
When their library started investigating demand-driven acquisitions (DDA) in 2012, Theresa S. Arndt and her colleagues were unwittingly sowing the seeds for Arndt's recent LITA Guide, Getting Started with Demand-Driven Acquisitions for E-Books. Based on her own experiences planning and implementing DDA, Arndt's goal for this book is straightforward: to help librarians at all kinds of institutions set up DDA programs to meet local needs.
