About Madelin Ramil, DPM

Dr. Madelin C. Ramil has been practicing foot & ankle surgery since she completed her surgical residency training program in 2000. As a Cuban- American native she is fluent in Spanish. She received her Bachelors of Science degree from UCLA in Kinesiology and graduated with a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Barry University. She is Board Certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery(ABFAS) and is an active fellow in the College of Foot & Ankle Surgery. She has been training residents in Foot & Ankle Surgery for 20 years. Throughout her career she has worked in various wound care centers in Broward county and ran the Plantation General Hospital Foot & Ankle clinic. She is an active member of Westside Regional Hospital and Plantation General Hospital. She is passionate about surgery and wound care. As a former teacher, she continues educating high school students, medical students, and surgical residents and is actively involved in lecturing and provides training to physician in the United States, Puerto Rico and Spain. She is proud to have been involved in a medical charity through the Yucatan Crippled Children Project operating on children and adults for 17 years.
