About Lynne Hall

Lynne Hall, DrPH, MSN, RN, is Professor and Associate Dean for Research in the School of Nursing. She received her Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Nursing from Clemson University. Dr. Hall also received a Doctorate in Public Health (Major—Maternal and Child Health; Minor—Epidemiology) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed postdoctoral study in Maternal and Child Health at the same institution. Her research interest is in women’s mental health, particularly that of low-income, single mothers and mothers of children with special healthcare needs. Her research has been funded by the National Institutes of Health, the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, and a variety of foundations. Her other interests are  quantitative methods and psychometrics. Dr. Hall has published widely on a variety of topics in addition to women’s mental health.
