About Lynn Roper, Ph.D.

Prior to coming to Cedarville University, Professor Roper taught students with mild to moderate disabilities in a public middle school. She worked both as a co-teacher in the regular education classroom as well as in the resource room. She collaborated with teachers, providing differentiated instructional support and consulting on intervention needs. She then taught special education courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels for five years at Asbury University. She was also the director of the support program for students with disabilities. Professor Roper is passionate about mentoring future teachers who desire to be the best they can be for their students. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in special education at the University of Kentucky.
