About Luke Fredette, Ph.D.

Dr. Luke Fredette completed his Ph.D. in 2016 and then served as Postdoctoral Researcher and then a Research Specialist in the Simulation, Innovation, and Modeling Center at The Ohio State University before coming to Cedarville University as an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering in 2020. Dr. Fredette’s expertise is in the field of mechanical systems, specifically vibration and noise control, nonlinear system dynamics, and fractional calculus based viscoelastic models. His research areas have included both component and system-level projects in the automotive, white goods, and anti-vibration products application spaces.
