About Luis Landron

Dr. Luis Landrón is a Professor of Spanish language and literature. He specializes in Medieval Spanish Literature. He received his doctorate from CUNY, Graduate Center in 1999. Prior to coming to Molloy College, he taught at Princeton University and Hamilton College. His research interests are in Medieval Studies. especially in Chivalry novels. Prof. Landrón has published a book entitled El Libro del caballero Cifar y la novela bizantina, Editorial Pliegos, Madrid, 2013. 

He is a professor at Molloy College since 2003, where he has been a member of various committees including the Research Committee, Tenure Committee, Faculty Council, and was elected Faculty President. In 2016 he became the Chair of the Promotion and Tenure Committee.
