About Lucia Helena Salgado

Associate Professor at the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), Post-Doctorate from the Université de Toulouse I Capitole - Toulouse School of Economics (TSE) 2012-2013 (CAPES support). PhD in Economics, Industry and Technology, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1996), was a visiting researcher and doctoral student exchange in the University of California, Berkeley (1994-1996), Master in Political Science at IUPERJ and bachelor in Economics from UFRJ . She was a member of the working group that led to Brazilian law and antitrust advisor to the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE) for two terms, from 1996 to 2000. He was Coordinator of Regulatory and Market Studies Board of Studies and State Policies, Institutions and Democracy IPEA 2008 to 2013. He is currently Visiting Professor of the Graduate course in Innovation Management Lab Management of Technology and Innovation at the Institute of Geosciences at UNICAMP since 2006, member of the research team NECTAR / ITA (Center for Transport Economics, Antitrust and Setting the Technological Institute of Aeronautics). Has coordinated research groups nationally and internationally since 1994 in Industrial Organization, Economic Regulation, Governance Mechanisms and Law and Economics, mainly in the following areas: regulatory instruments and mechanism design, antitrust, intellectual property and competition and new institutional economics.
