About Luca Salvatici

Luca Salvatici, received his Master of Science and PhD in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of California at Davis. From 1991 to 2003 he was a member of the Dipartimento di Economia Pubblica of the University of Roma “La Sapienza”; from 2003 to 2010 he was been a member of the Dipartimento di Scienze Economiche Gestionali e Sociali of the University of Molise; since 2011 he has been a member of the Dipartimento di Economia at the University Roma Tre.
Luca Salvatici is currently editor of the journal QA-Rivista dell’Associazione Rossi-Doria. He is member of the Centro Interdipartimentale di Economia Internazionale, University of Roma “La Sapienza”, and of the International Agricultural Trade Research Consortium. He has a well established research interest in agricultural policy and has done some extensive work on the reform of the Common Agricultural Policy. His current research activities focus on international economics with special reference to the measurement of trade distortions and the multilateral negotiations within the World Trade Organization. On these issues he has been involved in several research projects both at the European and national level. He has consultancy experience in this area, having completed work for the The World Bank and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.
