I opened the Academic Year 2015-2016 at Roma Tre University, at the Faculty of Economics, with a presentation on the Causal Evaluation of Historical Events in Economics, talking about the reduction of contemporary trade costs due to the participation of islands to historical see routes in the XVIII and XIX century.
