About LuAnn Nowak Etcher

LuAnn Etcher, PhD, GNP-BC, CPG, is an Associate Professor in the Dr. Susan L. Davis, R.N. and Richard J. Henley College of Nursing at Sacred Heart University. As Associate Dean of Research and Scholarship, she is committed to building progress within Sacred Heart University by supporting and promoting research and scholarly activity by students and faculty. 
Etcher has been with SHU since 2019, teaching in the online post-master DNP program.
Before joining the SHU community, Etcher worked as a nursing professor for several universities including Yale University and Wayne State University.Her research interests include biological rhythms, trauma, and nursing education.
