Abstract
Many domains such as military and agriculture collect data from sensors and other trusted applications, process them, and distribute them according to predetermined rules to interested entities. These sys- tems need to trust the data broker, which could be hosted in a public environment. This paper assesses the use of garbled circuits technique to protect the collected time-sensitive data and filtering and distribution policy from suspicious brokers. It reports about the design of a secure brokering protocol and preliminary performance evaluation of the imple- mentation.
