A Comparison of Parent and Child Perception of the Child's Behavior.
Behavioral Disorders
(1982)
Abstract
In the study, 23 behaviorally disturbed children (7 to 16 years old) as well as their parents were asked to complete a behavioral description form. Of 52 items on the questionnaire, a significant level of agreement was found on only seven items, suggesting that parent and child perceive the child's behavior differently. (Author/SB)
