Abstract

An online virtual museum exhibit of some of the maps in the Carleton "Buck" Weaver Trans-Allegheny Map Collection. Maps depicted include: Henrico Hondio, America Noviter Delineata, 1631; Guillaume L’Isle, Carta Geographical della Florida nell America Settentrionale, 1750; John Mitch, Map of the British and French Dominions in North America" 1755; and Joshua Fry and Peter Jefferson, A Map of the Most Inhabited Part of Virginia, 1775. In all, the exhibit has twelve historic maps.
