About Lisa Morris

Professor Morris is an assistant professor at the Muskie School, the Coordinator of the Public Policy Analysis track within the Master's program in Public Policy and Management (PPM), and the Coordinator of the Graduate Certificate in Social Policy Analysis. Professor Morris teaches Economics and Public Policy, Applied Policy Analysis, Social Justice Theory and Policy Analysis, and Gender and Race, Politics and Public Policy. Beginning with her dissertation (completed in 2000) she uses panel and times series data to analyze employment dynamics among various populations, including welfare recipients and the working poor. She also studies working poverty, contingent work arrangements, and work and family dynamics and outcomes.
