About Lisa A. Giacumo

Dr. Lisa Giacumo started at Boise State University in 2015. She is an Assistant Professor for the Department of Organizational Performance & Workplace Learning. Dr. Giacumo received a Ph.D. in Educational Technology from Arizona State University, a M.S. in Curriculum Development and Instructional Technology from SUNY University at Albany focusing on Instructional Technology along with a B.A. in French Studies with minors in Education and International Perspectives of Third World Countries. Her professional experience includes being a Contract Instructional Design & Training Consultant for Oxfam GB in Oxford, England and an Instructional Designer for the Apollo Group in Tempe, Arizona. She is currently a member of the American Educational Research Association, International Society for Performance Improvement, and the Association for Educational Communications and Technology. Dr. Giacumo’s research interests include blended, online, distance, and eLearning design, cross-cultural learning and performance design, as well as mentoring in organizations.
