About Lisa Vernon-Dotson

Dr. Lisa Vernon-Dotson's research focuses on teacher leadership, teacher education and special education, and retention of special education teacher educators. She is the Executive Editor of The Journal of Educational Research (Leadership and Teacher Development Division) and served as one of three Co-Investigators on a federally funded 3 year grant "The Beginning Teacher Project: Building Capacity and Professional Learning" with the Bridgeton Public School district. Dr. Vernon-Dotson is the Principal Investigator of New Jersey's Southern Learning Resource Center at Rowan University, a multi-year, multi-million dollar federally funded project.
