This collection addresses the phenomenon of lesbian/gay studies in education from a variety of political and pedagogical perspectives. Section one offers perspectives from college and high school educators and reflects on classroom dynamics, lesson plans and strategies. Section two covers educational politics outside the classroom and addresses questions of job security, professional history and academic guidance.
